I had the honor of documenting this sweet couples proposal at The Roaring Fork Club, summer Engagement Session near Pine Creek Cookhouse in Aspen, Colorado, and wedding weekend starting with a Welcome Party/Rehearsal Dinner at Free Range in Basalt, Colorado and wedding day at Spring Creeks Ranch in Carbondale, Colorado. All because I photographed their friends wedding also in Carbondale. I love the power of word of mouth, how small my local community can feel, and photographing weddings and other milestones within the same friend group. It’s truly so special! Brooks and Maxwell’s wedding was intentional, full of love, not without some wind and rain, espresso martini’s, light up cowboy hats and a lively dance floor thanks to the incredible live band Jordan Kahn Orchestra that came from Texas to preform at their reception. The girls wore custom Sue Sartor dresses, Maxwell wrote Brooks a wedding day note that was sewn into her cowboy boot, they had a stunning 5 layer cake and champagne tower as a centerpiece in the reception space to name a few od the incredible details weaved into their day.
